DIVORCE-Not necessarily bad...i think it's worse to marry the person in the first place. Maybe spend more time
getting to know the person. I mean, I know people always change and that could totally be the cause of a divorce, but at least
try as hard as you can to familiarize yourself with that "significant other" and their habits. Also if abuse is involved,
I say go right ahead divorce that loser, the sooner the better.
SECULAR MUSIC-I don't personally think that you listening to secular music will make God want to damn you to hell,
but Christian music is sooooooooo shibby if you give it a chance. Seriously, visit my band links...there's some good ones.
Plus I think that when you choose not to listen to secular music it's like you are permanently fasting and it gets you so
much closer to God, especially if you are totally committed to the cause.
ABORTION-This is a weird topic for me because i think there are a lot of gray areas. For example, if you're just
aborting the baby because you don't particularly want it then that is a shame because it's very likely that you'd change your
mind. Even if you don't though, there are so many people out there that are dying to have a baby...come on, watch a little
Dr. Phil. Anyways a gray area might be in the case of rape. I think if you get raped you should see a doctor right away and
get a morning after pill or something. As far as partial birth abortions go though, that's just disgusting...it makes me sick.
STANDARDIZED TESTS-I hated the SATs, I strongly advise you to take the ACTs...soooo much better! Even though the
ACTs were better than the SATs (in my opinion), I think standardized tests suck. I believe that your grades are probably the
best indicator. Plus, most of people study for standardized tests...doesn't that defeat the whole purpose. And, these
tests are aptitude tests and your aptitude is no indication of how lazy or devoted to your work you are. DOWN WITH THE SATs!
